ALREADY!?

I thought we had a few weeks...AT LEAST! 

This boy can M.O.V.E.!  He is curious about the world around him and he wants to know more!!  I love watching his sweet little hands, knees and feet carry him across the floor.  When he sees something of great interest, he tries to hurry.  I NEVER grow tired of watching him.  But no matter what he is doing or what he discovered, he always looks over his shoulder at one of us to make sure we approve.  How did we become so lucky?

Another one of our FAVORITE stages of Cooper's development!! 

He is really M.O.V.I.N.G.!!!  Sooooo cute to watch a little 17 pound, 26.5 inch 8 month old crawl across the floor .  His eyes are focused and he is usually smiling.  Our reading efforts are slowly paying off!  He is now interested long enough to help turn the page.  Short books are best.  Sturdy books are best.  He still likes to chew!!   

First Word...

Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma!! 

Our Super Cooper is an overachiever!  It is actually easier to produce the "d" sound in "dada" than it is the "m" sound in "mama".  I was lucky enough to see and hear his first word!   
So proud :)
