New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix 2013

It was our first time traveling to The New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix & Fun Family Day.  The weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time!  Cooper was so excited that he didn't even sleep today.  We met an Olympian Horse named "Authentic".  He was BEAUTIFUL!!!
We played, enjoyed concerts from Ariana Grande & Emblem3, strolled the home grounds of Mr. & Mrs. Wes Lexner and enjoyed the beautiful community of New Albany!

OH!  Cooper drank his first apple juice from a straw :)  I think he likes it :)

Did I mention the beautiful skies!??  Ellie is trying to wave from high above!!  Can you see her??!

So lucky to spend the day with my 4 favorite people!!  Cannot wait until every day is the weekend again!!

Where's Cooper?

Eric: "Where's Cooper?"
Tina: (Looking around the living room) "I don't know.  He was
         here a minute ago...Coooopperrrrr?!"

No sound...

Tina: "Cooper?"

Still no sound...

Guess we need more baby gates... :)

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, COOPER!!

Today he is ONE!
Let the parties begin!!

Riley and Ellie have INSISTED
on making a triple-layered cake...

results pending...

Cooper is walking...FAST!

Tried to get the "traditional" month photo in the chair, but it just wouldn't happen.  So I just followed him around until I took a few good shots.

Cooper LOVES balls.  He often carries around two in his hands as he walks through the house.  The pitter-patter of his little feet is a sound I have wished to hear since Ellie was a baby.

There are so many people who love you, Cooper.  I can hardly wait to watch the mountains you move!

The fun continues tomorrow...

Birthday Boy...almost!

I am still trying to absorb the events that took place exactly one year ago today.  We remember EXACTLY where we were standing and EXACTLY what was said.  We were given the news that our sweet baby is making his entrance into the world on September 6.  I remember staying until midnight in my classroom trying to prepare my students and long-term substitute teacher enough plans to last them for a while.  My adrenaline and state of shock kept me focused and alert as we packed the car for a ride that would forever change our lives.  I cannot believe that Cooper will turn 1 year old tomorrow.  How did we become so lucky?

We sure have an AMAZING network of friends and family.  Today in the mail, Cooper received 4 birthday cards and one big box!  The girls Cooper was so excited to open the box that he couldn't wait until tomorrow...so the birthday events started one day early...

The clean laundry pile in the background is a work in progress...:)

Did I mention he can actually THROW a ball!?
More birthday surprises coming tomorrow...Happy (early) First Birthday, sweet Cooper!!  You are our WISH COME TRUE!
